2012 Dodge Charger SRT8

The previous Dodge Charger SRT8 had “just” 425 hp and 420 lb-ft from its 6.1-liter V-8. The new Hemi’s intake features active air flaps that vary the ram length based on engine speed, and new variable cam timing increases the duration of the intake-valve opening with the goal of stuffing more air in the cylinder.

We clocked the old Dodge Charger SRT8 from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds, and that’s about where Chrysler pegs this new car’s abilities (in addition to a stated top speed of 175 mph). . The five-speed automatic carries over from the last car, but this time it’s equipped with steering-wheel-mounted paddles to augment the side-to-side manumatic function of the gear selector. The suspension interprets data such as steering angle and speed, vehicle speed, throttle position, and lateral acceleration to automatically vary shock stiffness.  Deceleration is handled by four-piston Brembo calipers, squeezing 14.2-inch front and 13.8-inch rear rotors. The brakes also incorporate a collision-anticipation function that tucks the pads snug against the rotors in anticipation of hot car-on-car (or car-on-object) action. A new underbody shield integrates brake ducting to mitigate brake fade.

Exterior Design
The front grille, grille surround and Dodge crosshair feature high-gloss black finishes and the SRT badge. A newly designed underbody belly pan features integrated brake ducting to improve cooling and brake fade performance at all four corners.

Interior Design
Heated and ventilated front seats are standard. The SRT logo is embroidered in the seat backs. Modified door trim panels feature unique bolster material and accent stitching on arm rests to match the seats. New for 2012, the Dodge Charger SRT8 features a 900-watt, 19-speaker premium SRT performance audio surround-sound system from Harmon Kardon. The color graphic Electronic Vehicle Information Center also includes the Performance Pages timers and added engine information.

2012 Toyota Tacoma

The 2012 Toyota Tacoma is offered with four-cylinder and V6 engines, and 2WD and 4WD drive trains, plus the usual choice of ‘cab.’ The Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab and Access Cab models feature a 73.5-inch-long bed. The Double Cab is available with a choice of a 60.3-inch bed or the 73.5-inch bed.  The new Toyota Tacoma line offers two engines: a 2.7-liter Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC) four-cylinder that produces 159 horsepower and 180 lb-ft. of torque, and a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 that provides 236 horsepower with 266 lb-ft. of torque. In both engines, variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-I) provides strong low-end and mid-range torque.

Exterior design
Tacoma earned the new face of the A-pillar forward, with a new grille. The new bonnet adorned with the presence of a major revision of the model lamp, house fog lights, and bumpers.

Interior design
in the interior, you'll find a new design for the instrument panel with center-gauge cluster (horde meter) and revised steering wheel. And there are still some other revisions.

2012 Honda Pilot

The 2012 Honda Pilot provides a hushed ride, thanks to refinements in the chassis and increased insulation. Every Pilot model now features an acoustic windshield with double-pane glass, so outside clamor is significantly lessened.

Exterior Design
The Pilot's tailgate offers convenient access to its spacious cargo compartment. Gas-pressurized struts assist the opening process, while a sturdy handle built into the inner panel makes closing the tailgate easier. The rear glass lifts up independently of the tailgate, which allows for easy access to the cargo area without having to open the entire tailgate.

Interior Design
Every Pilot features standard seating for up to eight adults. But when extra cargo space is needed, 16 different seating configurations are possible, thanks to the 60/40 split-folding second- and third-row seats. The tri-zone automatic climate control system (EX and above) features three independent zones: driver, front passenger and rear passengers. The rear-seat controls feature an LCD display, so passengers can select the temperature they wish. They can also select mode and fan speed. The humidity control system automatically monitors cabin humidity and adjusts accordingly—it can even help prevent the windshield from fogging. The climate control system also includes a partial recirculation air intake, which provides fresh air while maintaining the selected temperature. This lowers the amount of time the A/C compressor and condenser fan operate, which helps improve fuel economy.

Engine specifications
Every Pilot is powered by a 250-hp, 3.5-liter, aluminum-alloy, SOHC, 24-valve i-VTEC engine featuring the latest version of Honda's advanced Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) system.
This transmission uses the engine's broad torque curve for brisk acceleration, optimized fuel economy[1] and smooth-shifting characteristics. Grade Logic Control improves efficiency under a wide variety of driving conditions, such as uphill/downhill and city-traffic driving. It "knows" when the Pilot is on a hill and automatically holds the engine in a lower gear for better climbing power and increased engine braking when going downhill. This decreases annoying "gear hunting" that can often occur with other automatic transmissions in these situations.
